It may not be a problem with the disc as it is the system reading the disc. My Wii has a hard time reading all Super Smash Bros. Brawls, so it might be their PS2 that is the problem.
I understand everyone that the game has long load times, but if you think about it, 1 whole star for loading times, if that is the only problem they mentioned is a lot. That means on most gaming sites which give it a certain score out of 10, it would get an 8, which is usually just great. I think a game with long load times can still be excellent if not near perfect if it meets those standards, it just seems like a lot to take off for one minor flaw. Even if their PSP had a hard time reading the disc, I don't think it should take more then 30 seconds to load the longest load time in the game.
You need to do the data install to get rid of the load times issue.

lol jk. But SMG2 was amazing. I can see why they did that... but no game is perfect.
Some people don't have the space to do that...but yes, most people will do that.

Playstation Magazine isn't IGN. Also SMG2 was more fun than BBS for me.
Also you're basically implying that BBS should get a score it doesn't deserve.

I think it might be an issue with the PSP itself...I doubt the UMDs randomly have problems or not...I'm gonna data install anyways...just so I can say mine is the fastest possible.

Whether or not the score is deserving or not is a form of opinion. And in all honesty, I still think BBS should've gotten a higher rating. So what I am implying is that BBS should get a score that it DOES deserve. And taking away a whole star just for loading screens that aren't even that bad is purely idiotic. It reminds me of those 2 idiots who posted a video about them talking about KH being gay while they were at E3.

4/5 reminds you of those guys, so 4/5 stars is bad now? That's a great score. 5/5 would be like games like Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy VI, Super Mario 64, etc. Kingdom Hearts doesn't fall into those categories IMO, neither does any other KH game. Also it's all your opinion but that still doesn't mean you need to realize what a game deserves. IMO Bully is one of my favorite games of all time but I know it doesn't deserve a 10/10 or 5/5. Just because it's one of your favorite games doesn't mean it deserves a perfect score to the general consensus.
You misunderstood me. I was asking "If IGN can give MG2 a 10/10 why can't BBS get a 10/10"? Having different reviewers has nothing to do with this. You're saying that BBS doesn't deserve a great score, yet if all the Nintendo games come then they do?αsiя;5242691 said:

I feel like you're skimming my comments now. Pay attention please: I'm saying that loading screens shouldn't take away a star. The Topic starter said that the ONLY negative thing about the game was "loading screens." Do you really think that 5 second loading screens are worth removing a whole star for? I don't think so.
A game "deserving" something will always be an opinion. Do NOT say that whether or not something "deserves" something is a fact, it never is.
It can't be a UMD issue, doesn't it save to your memory stick?

Because BBS doesn't deserve a 10/10, and yes it's because KH isn't as famous as Mario, but SMG2 is a still an amazing game. Also there is a difference between a out of 10 and out of 5 rating. Also Playstation Magazine don't review Nintendo games, just saying.
And do you really think BBS deserves a perfect score, which is what I consider a 5/5 is. Perfect means no flaws, or very little flaws, and since we don't have the actual article then we don't know if there's more subtle flaws in the review. Also I don't know if PM give ratings away like IGN does.
Yes, of course, you say BBS deserves 5/5, me and the reviewer say it doesn't. I'm just saying you need to realize a game having flaws and the game not having flaws no matter if it's your favorite game.
This is all just opinions. But 4/5 is still an amazing score.

Nowadays, 10/10s are becoming more common and some people take it as "as good as it can be." Because think about it... if you really believed that a 10/10 or a 5/5 means perfect without any flaws whatsoever, then there would never ever be a game receiving that score. But I have read and watched over 4 reviews that suddenly gave out 10/10s to RDR, SCII, etc.

Yes I know, more reviewers these days just give away perfect ratings more. But I still think BBS isn't one of the those games. You do, but I don't and neither does a lot of reviewers and people outside the fanbase.

I'm simply stating that I think it deserves better than a 4/5 or 8/10. Meaning 4.5 or 4.8/5 not 5/5. I'm simply stating that in my opinion, the game deserves a better score. Does it mean I believe the game to be perfect? No. But either way, this argument will go nowhere since it is all based on opinions and therefore will have no winner.

Not all reviewers use halfs, they give it a whole number or nothing at all. So since they weren't giving it a 5, 4 was the way to go. However, if they were on a 10 scale, 9 would have been the way to go, so just wait for other's reviews of the game instead of arguing about opinions as if they are fact. =/
Yeah I think this argument has gotten a little out of control. Honestly, I think that XIII Heartless said it correctly...Playstation magazine probably doesn't give numbers with decimals, and since the game probably got a 4.8 or so...sure they could have rounded up...but that would mean perfect...so they went down to a 4...that might be want happenend...that is why IGN does give decimals...so that they don't have to choose between whole numbers. I think both arguments were correct though.

They really pissed me off. 5 seconds into the game they started bashing it. They even said you just press x through the whole game and i quote "he looks like an anorexic batman in tron" while he was playing with terra in mirage arena.
