Ok here's round two ;)


Chapter12:Boom!​

The Hybrid ran to the middle of a now open field,where one mad stood,waving his arms around,causing items to float in mid-air.
"That ain't Chris"Erika pointed out.
"Thanks eagle-eye" Laura snapped,as they ran to field,where tents were up-lifted,tree's up-rooted,things flying in the air.
The man,had dark,fading hair, a dark beard and mustache, he wore a blue metallic armour suit,with two cannons grafted on the end of each hand,and a pair of dark shades over his eyes.
"Put the stuff down" Laura orderred.
"What are you going to do,little girl?" the man replied.
"We are going to send you packing"Fayth shouted.
"I wanted to say something like that"Laura muttered.
Suddenly,ripples in the air,flew towards at Laura,sending her flying.
"How did he do that?"Fayth asked.
"Telechenetic powers?"Erika wondered.
"No" the man replied.
"I am Sonic Boom,I can manipulate sound waves,to near solid energy,enough to physically hurt someone" the man(Sonic Boom) continued.
Erika flew up in the air,and used her powers to gather any metal objects around,she flung them at him.
But Sonic Boom,simply stopped them in mid-air with a sound wave.
Laura picked herself up and ran at him,duplicating herself.
Sonic Boom shot waves at two duplicants,who disintegrated from the pressure of the waves,but before he could et the real Laura,he was met with a punch to the stomach,then to the chest,and finally to his face.
As he stumbled backwards, he was hit by a flying bin,thrown by Erika.
Sonic Boom,tried to pick himself up,but Fayth stopped him, suspending him in mid-air.
"Now G'Tarr" Laura ordered as G'Tarr stood in front of Sonic Boom.
Sonic Boom managed to wriggle an arm out of Fayth's grasp,and as G'Tarr shot an energy beam,Sonic Beam shot a wave.
The two beams clashed,jostling each other,back and forth.
Eventually G'Tarr overpowered Sonic Boom,hitting him directly in the chest.
As he lay on the ground,Erika walked up to him and,using her powers, melted down his cannons,into circular discs.
"You foll"Sonic Boomuttered as he picked himself up,with his fists clenched "you've just screwed yourself over now."
Sonic Boom openned his fists,and huges waves were sent flying at The Hybrid,completely uncontrolled.
The Hybrid scremaed as the waves blared into them,they tried to defend themselves,but the beams were too powerful.
They were all sent flying back,but before they could hit the ground,the waves kept coming.
Sonic Boom clenched his fists,letting them fall,he strolled over to them.
They were each cut badly,blood trickling from their unconcsious bodies.
"These are this is the renound Hybrid,I am not impressed" Sonic Boom muttered,as he rolled Laura over with his foot.
He walked away from the scene,with all the precious medieval artefacts in hand, he had truely won.
Meanwhile back at the Mayor's office,Mayor Fallon ran around frantically.
"He is still at large"she squeeled as she paced her office.
"Who is ma'am?" her seceratary.
"That awful Sonic Boom,he defeated the Hybrid,with ease from what I'm told" the Mayor replied.
"Who told you Mayor?" her secretary asked.
"I saw it on the television" Fallon replied as she turned on the TV in her office.
"So, poor Xander will never ride a bike again"Fiona said,as she shuffled her news cards.
"Poor elephant,we all at Marshall Matters wish Xander the elephant a speedy recovery."Brian continued.
"That we do Brian,hat we do." Fiona said,as she cracked a false smile.
"In other news,it seems the Hybrid have been defeated again,this time by new criminal,Sonic Boom" Brian announced.
"Sorry Brian, I believe we have a live link with Mr.Boom right now,can we go live to it?Yes we can"Fiona interrupted as the screen split into double screen,to reveal Sonic Boom, sitting facing a camera.
"Mr.Boom,can you tell us what happenned?"Fiona asked.
"Of course, well, I was carrying out a standard robbery"Sonic Boom admitted.
"As you do"Brian interrupted.
"Indeed.............anyway as I was saying I was commiting my crimes,when the Hybrid showed up,I expected a full on battle,i always expected to beat them,but I also expected a challenge" Sonic Boom declared.
"So you beat them well,ok, in other new Element and his gang earlier robbed two banks,taking over 70million dollars,are you an acomlice to Element?"Brian asked.
"I certainly am not,I work for myself"Sonic Boom informed them.
"A sole trader,very nice"Fiona commented "so there you have it folks,Hybrid defeated easily,no links to Element,Sonic Boom,is one to watch for the future."
"An rather dashing might I add"Briand admitted,as Fiona stared at him.
"Sorry"Brian said,as he lowered his head.
"You said you were over that phase"Fiona shouted.
"Not on air"Brian urged.
"Oh right,yes"Fiona spluttered "with recent events,and the departure of Spped Demon,and the defection of Element,you have to wonder,is it all over for the Hybrid?..................More at eleven."



Only 2 today,coz its 01:24AM -_-

So good!!!! -skips around- SS, you are excellant!!! I've spent the last.... month?.... reading all 50 chapters of A new breed of Heros, and now I've just finished reading this. -pants- Excellant!!! Keep on going!! And get the next chapter out soon!! =D

Anywayz,sorry for teh delay,as I am currently in Spain,in an internet cafe.
I wrote a chappy yesterday,but my time ran out and I lost it -_-


Chapter13:The Resurrection​

Alarms blared through the Mayor's mansio,as The Hybrid jumped out of bed.
They met in the front room,where a robotic voice roared.
"Jeweller's,Bank,Museum" the voice screamed.
"Where?"Erika asked.
"Two on main street, the museum is off Maoro avenue" the voice replied,still shouting.
"Move"Laura uttered as The Hybrid ran towards the door.
They burst out of the main entrance,and went straight for the H-Mobile.
"Where to?"the car spoke,to the shock of the Hybrid.
"Damn,I forgot you could talk"Fayth remarked,stiff from the firght.
They all eventually got in the car,Laura and Erika in the front,Fayth and ´'Tarr in the back.
"Main street"Laura ordered,as the car began it's drive down the path.
"Erika you take the museum,Fayth the jeweller's,G'Tarr and I will tackle the bank robber"Laura confirmed,as the H-mobile sped through the streets.
The H-mobile screeched to a halt just off Maoro avenue.
"Out you get"Laura orderred,as Erika climbed out of the car,and hoverred over to the museum wall.
Erika flew through an open window on the top floor of the museum,she glanced around,nobody was to be seen.
Suddenly a statue came flying at her,she quickly swooped out of the way.
Still she could see nobody,all of a sudden,a sculpture came out of nowhere,which she barely dodged.
"Down here" a cockney voice beamed.
Erika approached a gap in the floor,she looked don to see a painting comeing straight at her.
It colided with her,sending her straight up to the roof,she regained control of herself,as she plummeted,down through the hole.
She was a storey down,and was being watched by a very large figure.
"Rip"she growled.
"'Ello love" he replied cheekily.
Erika lunged at Rip,who continued with his barrage of artwork.
Meanwhile the H-Mobile pulled up at Marshall's main street.
"Ok the Jeweller is at the end of the street,so I'll catch up with you when I'm done"Fayth assured them as she jumped out of the car.
Fayth pressed herself against the Jeweller's wall,trying to glance in the window,but couldn't.
She couldn't see through the tinted glass,so she peaked in the window,to see Switchblade filling a sack,wih diamonds.
"Who's the lucky lady?"Fayth asked as she stood behind him.
Switchblade threw back his arm,hoping to catch Fayth,but his arm stiffenned.
"Easy tiger"Fayth orderred,as she grabbed the bag from his hand.
"For me? you shouldn't have" she remarked, as she glanced in the bag.
Suddenly a fist connected with her face,sending her against the wall.
"You were too distracted by the diamonds"Switchblade uttered as he openned his fist,clearly free from Fayth's grasp.
Meanwhile G'Tarr and Laura walked up to a police barricade,outside the bank.
"What's the situation?"Laura asked as she approached an officer.
"Bank robbery" the officer replied.
"We know that,but are there an hostages?"Laura asked.
"I don't think so" the officer repied.
"There are twenty sir" a cop beside him repied.
"Shut up Carl" the off¡cer orderred.
"Any sightings of the thief?"Laura questioned.
"No,except a silhouette of the firgure" the officer answerred.
"Well,we can take a good guess"G'Tarr assured them.
"We'll take it from here officer"Laura said as she patted the man on the chest,and walked off.
"Hear that guys The Hybrid will take care of it, let's go get coffee and donuts"The man shouted through a megaphone.
Within seconds all polce personnel were gone,without a trace.
"Unproffesional"Laura sighed,as she and G'Tarr headed for the bank doors.
As soon as Laura openned a indow at the side of the bank,about twenty people streamed out.
"Atleast he hasn't harmed anyone"G'Tarr said as he giggled frailly.
"Look I don't want to hurt Chris either,but the people and the city come first"Laura said,as she climbed through the window.
They walked through the bank,nobody could be seen,but a noise was heard from the safe.
Laura creeped up to the safe,where rummaging was heard.
She usherred G'Tarr in, but after looking up,they stood in shock.
"The Sh-sh-shadow?" they gasped.
"The one and only" a man,in a black full body suit,it was a familiar voice.
That of The Shadow.......................


Maybe another tomorrow,if I have time.

Chapter14: The Silver Lining​

"You died"Laura uttered,as she stared at the once dead shadow.
"Do I look dead to you?"The Shadow replied as he clenched his fists,and placed them beside his left hip.
He threw his hands out infront of him,and a stream of energy shot from his know open palms.
G'Tarr and Laura narrowly dodged the attack.
"What the f*ck??"Laura exclaimed,as she adjusted her stance.
"Did I not show you my little party trick before?"The Shadow asked,as he once again clenched his fists.
Another beam came from The Shadow's hands,connecting with Laura,sending her through a wall,into the next room.
Before the Shadow could turn his attentions to G'Tarr he was met by a blast,straight to his chest.
He was kocked down instantly,but picked himself up just as quick.
The Shadow ran towards G'Tarr,dodging all of his energy beams.
When he reached G'Tarr he punched him straight in the jaw.
G'Tarr crashed into a wall,the impact knocked him out cold.
As The Shadow ran for the door,Laura appeared directly infront of him.
Before the Shadow realised,he was laying on his back,after recieving a kick from Laura.
Laura grabbed him by the neck,and pulled him up to her eye level.
"How are you hear?The same way Chris is?You died you son of a bitch,you died"Laura muttered to him.
"Obviously not"The Shadow replied,as he clenched his fists,without Laura seeing.
He placed his hands on her mid-drift,and blew her away,with a massive ball of energy.
As G'Tarr and Laura lay on the ground in agony,some 20 feet from eachother,The Shadow was free to escape.
He made a run for the door,with a sack on his back,and quickly burst through them.
Suddenly he came flying back through the doors,smashing into a wall opposite the door.
Fayth stood in the doorway,dragging Switchblade behind her.
She tossed a tied up Switchblade,onto the Shadow telepathically.
Laura sat up and stuttered the sentence "h-how the hell?"
"It was easy,I'll tell you about it sometie" Fayth replied arrogantly.
"Whatever,just tie up the Shadow"Laura orderred as she picked herself up off the ground.
"Yes ma'am"Fayth replied as she walked up to the Shadow.
As Fayth tied up the Shadow,Laura scooped up G'Tarr and left the building.
She placed him in the H-mobile,lying across the back seat.
"Send a message to the police,to come take The Shadow and Switchblade"Laura orderred.
"Will do" the H-Mobile replied.
Laura climbed ut of the H-mobile to go check how Fayth was dong.
Meanwhile Erika faught on with Rp,both were injured badly.
Rip threw anothr statue at Erika,which she quickly dodged.
Retalliating she clenched her fists,and stiffenned her body.
Rip watched on in curiosity.
Suddenly, the building began to shake,there was a rumbling noice all around them.
Pipes flew through the wall,spraying water,directly at Rip.
The pressure was too much even for him,he was sent flying across the room.
Erika was unphased by the water,as it didn't reachd in mid-flight.
After the water stopped running as strongly as it did,Rip was able to stand up again.
Rip charged at Erika,like a lion hunting it's prey.
He dived at her,but she simply moved out of he way.
Rip was running with such spped and force,he went right through the wall,four storeys up.
Erika watched as Rip,hit the ground,leaving a giant chasm in the road.
"Ouch"Erika giggled,as she flew out of the hole.
Police arrived in minutes to cart off Rip,who was dragged away by four police vans.
Instead of trying to find the others,she simply set off back to the Mayor1s house.
She met up with the other there,where Laura and G'Tarr nursed teir wounds.
"Who did that to you?Chris?"she gasped.
"No,it was.................The Shadow"Lara answerred.
"But he's dead" Erika explained.
"Can a dead person do this?"Laura asked as she lifted her top half-way,to reveal a huge red mark on her stomach.
"Guess not"Erika replied.
"But hey,we beat them"Fayth announced.
"Yeah they are all currently in prison"Laura declared,as she lay back down on the couch.
"Maybe things are........"Erika stated"..........finally starting to look up"

Well,don't want to upset everyone so I'll post a chappy,to dampen my rage.

Here ya go:

Chapter15: Anyone for Twister?​
​

"I can't take this anymore" Rob moaned as they trekked through a barren dessert,his body suit torn in many places.
"I mean we've travelled god knows how far"Rob shouted,as he dragged himself along.
"It's only been about 1000 miles" Mooresey uttered,as he walked on with ease.
"For you,every time we stop, you make me run 10 miles in some different terrain"Rob complained.
"I'm getting you used to the elements,you'll need to be able to conquer them all"Mooresey answerred,as he sat down in the sand.
"Why are we stopping?"Rob asked.
"Sit" Mooresey orderred,as Rob did so.
The wind around them began to pick up,sand began to blow everywhere.
It was a sandstorm,as Rob sat in the sand,he shut his eyes tight,to keep out the sand.
"Look over there"Mooresey saaid as he pointed to the west,his eyes wide open.
Rob openned his eyes slightly,and stared off to see a tornado of sand coming towards them.
"Stop it"Mooresey orderred.
"I can't even see infront of me,how can I stop a tornado?"Rob questionned.
"Not my problem"Mooresey replied bluntly.
Rob tried to stand up,but the wind kept knocking him down.
"Get up"Mooresey demanded,as Rob lay in the sand.
"I'm trying!"Rob screamed back,as he scrambled to his feet.
Rob ran full force,but instantly slipped in the sand.
He got on his hands and knees,and began to crawl in the direction of the tornado.
He put one arm infront of his face,shielding it from the sand.
Nearing the tornado,he began to pick himself up to a stance.
"I know what to do,but will I be able"he thought to himself as he glimpsed at the tornado,after lowering his arm.
Rob picked up a handful of sand and threw it at the tornado.
The tornado blew the sand to the right,and sucked it into the gust.
"Right"Rob uttered,as he stared into the tornado.
Rob planted his feet,dead in the ground,facing his left side.
He lifted his right foot and placed it infront of him,then his left.
Rob ran around the tornado,the opposite way it blew.
He slowly picked up speed.
Running circles around the tornado,sand began to fly behind him,forming another tornado.
Rob edged closer to the inner tornado,as did the outer tornado.
Rob jumped into the outer torando,which flew blew upwards.
It proppelled Rob out from between the two tornadoes.
He watched as the outer torando and the inner tornado clashed,both going in different directions,they engulfed each other,disappearing in the wind.
Rob jumped to the ground,shielding his face once again,his eyes writhing in pain.
He crawled on his stomach,to where Mooresey sat,watching him all that time.
"Not bad" Mooresey admitted,as he lay into the sand.
Rob lay down aswell,but a good bit away from Mooresy,anticipating an attack.
"Don't worry I'm not going to attack you"Mooresey replied.
"Oh yeah,why not?"Rob asked.
"We are lying in quicksand"Mooresey replied calmly.
"What?!?!?"Rob screamed.
"Don't even try and escape until your body is fully engulfed"Mooresey orderred,as he sank deeper.
Rob muttered profanities as he slowly sunk into ther sand.
"I hate you"he muttered.
"I know"Mooresey replied,before his head completely disappeared.
Within seconds,Mooresey burst out of the sand,landing on a patch of solid sand.
"He better hurry up,we have alot of ground to cover"Mooresey remarked,as Rob's head had just gone under.
Rob held his breathe,and kept his eyes close,he could bareley move.
He tried to swim in the sand,but it was too thick.
Mooresey used brute strenght to get out, his way of deaaling with most things.
That's what Rob had to do,stick to what he knew.
Rob tried to run in the sand.
He slowly fought the thickness of the sand.
After a long time trying,he got his legs moving,he couldn't run out,he was stuck solid.
There was only one thing he could do.
He threw his leg's around,as hard as he could,still in place.
Mooresey noticed a current forming inthe sand,that of a whirlpool.
"That's using your smarts" he muttered as he stepped three paces back.
Suddenly,wet sand flew everywhere,everywhere except Mooresey was standing.
In the pit,once filled with quicksand,Rob lay,exhausted.
Mooresey jumped into the pit,and lifted Rob out of it.
Mooresey carried,Rob as he continued his journey,surely leading to bigger and harder tests........................
