the data install is an option you get in the main menu of the game were you can install an amount of the game into your memory stick

What they said. And you can choose from different mb amounts, depending on how much space you have on your memory card. It's essential if you don't want to have long load times.
How many data install threads are there? :O
I lost count....well, I know that I'll be getting the highest one, and still have alot of space, I think I'll end up having like 2,500 mb left, or somewhere near that.
Lol after 800mb data install, I'll have like, 300mb left >.> But its worth it! (I'll have to delete some demos eventually... but not Echoshift

Will the 4GB Memory Stick that comes with the bundle be big enough for the data install of Terra, Ven and Aqua?

Yes, of course. It's more than enough.
4 GB = 4096 MB > 800 MB (maximum data install)

Calm down. You only need one data install for the entire game.
I have a 1GB Memory Stick, and I'm doing the highest data install, 'cuz it's been 5 years. I'M NOT WAITING ANY LONGER!!!

^^Well I mean like KH2's secret ending makes it 5...even though we had no idea what the hell it was...lol
You'll be waiting an hour or less for the Data Install to finish. >_> So longer time to wait.
