in that last battle with dark riku, infront of the final keyhole..kairi's body is there in the cutscene but during the battle it's disapered then it's back again after the battle. You think they would've noticed that while in development.

Of course they were well aware of it. It risks screwing up the gameplay if you have a body lying around. If they included Kairi's body in it, there'd need to be an extra mechanic added where Sora needs to keep Kairi safe, but Ansem SoD wouldn't have attacked Kairi anyway, so it would have been pointless. Thus, Kairi was kept out.
I always did wonder about that, but Infinity Sign is right. If it was there, it would of messed up the gameplay and more than likely would of added an unneeded "protect Kairi" part.
Yeah,I get so damn frustrated with those.

It's pretty much the old barrier trick. While it's canon she's there, it wasn't necessary for battle purposes.

I'm happy that they removed it, you can actually take the battle seriously for once..
Same here. I got game overed because of Queen Minnie.
Good thing they removed her body from the fight scene or it would be really weird stepping on her or tripping on her.
It's not a big deal, but I get what some people are trying to say.
