Spoiler ShowNames of the endings in the code say Bad End and True End, so there's that.
I already posted that yesterday. lolSpoiler ShowNames of the endings in the code say Bad End and True End, so there's that.
Spoiler Showkind of wish the ending were Sora lost was the canon one. Sora being crystalized could of tied into the secret ending were he wakes up on the streets of Shibuya. Plus now Yozora's comments about "saving Sora" is pretty much meaningless.
Spoiler ShowWhile I absolutely don't care for Yozora, or any of the Verum Rex crap, I'm not sure what's wrong with having Sora's victory act as the true ending.
Like.. how would Sora being crystalized have tied into Secret Ending any better than it would have with him prevailing? We already learned from the Limit Cut episode that the original Secret Ending was just a dream (that happened during the 1 year time skip) either way, right? That explains how Yozora is present in that moment despite us seeing Sora throw him in the wind.
Also, Yozora was going on about "saving Sora" before the battle even started. Then, when he loses, he says his power "isn't needed yet." If anything the game is basically telling you that Yozora's words and actions will eventually have some level of consequence and meaning later on (even if it's not in the immediate future, like with the Bad Ending).

Spoiler ShowA dream from Riku's part at least. I figured if the bad ending was the canon one Sora would have just come out of crystal stasis at that moment he wakes up in Shibuya in the secret ending Plus since the fight took place in Shibuya I thought that would have been a good set up.
Spoiler ShowI completly understand the way of thinking why the name of the second ending being "True" Ending hints strongly that the 2. ending is the only one which is going to stay relevant. However that is only one possibility. One that's maybe more likely to be true in the end. However:
Another one would be, that the ending is called like that, because it was the last ending the developers intended for the players to find - or in other words - the true ending of the game as of itself. The last one you gonna see, before the story of ReMind has been told, because it's much more likely that the player is gonna die the first time they fight Yozora.
I admit to a part I want to hold on to that idea, since otherwise it punches another hole in my own thoughts regarding which is the true ending. Which would be both, but the order is what matters. First Good/"True" Ending, then Bad Ending. They just happen at different times.
I wrote a commend regarding this on reddit once, so what's following is just a copy of it:
Some things to add to this:me said:After some thoughts about it, I do think the transportation part into daytime/light Final World is an important thing in all of this. But not only this, also where both of them were to begin with. The dark Final World, which I think they never truly left during the fight. Afterall at the beginning it was where Soras stage of awakening/his heart was at. The key here is, I think, what these world symbolize.
Saying what exactly they are can't be said yet, but it seems to be that being in the light FW is better than in the dark FW.
This is the basis I'm going to use for all my upcoming thougts:
Both worlds symbolize the state a mind/heart is in (Soras stage of awakening appearing underneath both their feets tells us in which condition Sora truly is) and they are connected via a weaking process which is happening on both sides. Light FW = mind/heart is healthy, but it's possible to become weakened there which let's someone get transported into the dark FW (if Sora wasn't send there directly). Just think about the KH3 tutorial where Sora fought against some heartless (so it's kinda a prison like the dark world, where enemies can appear at any time).
Once into the dark FW this doesn't stops and would proceed until someone trapped there fades away (or something else ultimatly bad can happen there) and this is the part where Yozora comes in. Sora being in this world is a bad thing and he either has to recover in order to go back by himself to the light FW (defeating Yozora and proves to still be strong enough) or has to be crystalised so he can't become any weaker anymore until he can be truly saved. Yozora winning and getting transported into the light LW is just showing how the traveling works, regardless of who it is (proving to be still strong - maybe not what is important, but my best guess at the moment)
So which ending is the true one? I think either both or just the bad ending, but never only the good ending. The good ending comes first, where Yozora says to Sora, that his powers aren't needed yet. But this won't stay this way (weaking process) and he needs to come back should Soras heart/mind fall back in the dark FW.
-Yozora travels two times to Sora and Sora is going back from the light FW to the dark one. He gets beaten the first time, but overpowers Sora the second time.
-One big evidence against this would be Yozoras line "Sorry, but I don't lose." in the bad ending. Memory shenanigans could be an answer to that (maybe because it's just a dream for him and dreams can be hard to remember?), but even if not I still wanted to post this because of the whole Light Final Word/Dark Final World thing going on.
-Something what in the same time maybe hints at this being the case is Soras "How could... [i lose?]" Did Sora fought him one time before and was wondering why he couldn't do it again. Although it can also just be Sora who just can't believe to have been beaten like he was.
I like the bad ending more, so this can also just me wishing and trying to put the pieces together in a way it's fitting for me. I admit that. Still one can dream
Spoiler ShowI am actually relieved to see that the "Sora Wins" ending is the "True" ending. But I've been thinking why exactly would they make a bad ending in the first place? Perhaps they made a "Yozora Wins" ending to not only show the consequences of Sora losing but also to encourage players to try again. I know I would keep on trying to beat him to see if there is another ending.
Spoiler ShowIt's very fitting, thematically. Scala looks like a heavenly place, while Daybreak Town and its ruins look hellish and reminiscent of Dante's nine circles. The Foretellers are named after the seven deadly sins, after all.
What is someone from the Kirby team on the Osaka team?

Does anyone else see the throne at the bottom of the red picture? Geez Nomura going crazy with these demon themes lol.
On the same Twitter page, the floor sigil displayed during Xehanort’s final battle has his goat head and horns weaved through it. Nice detail!

Spoiler ShowSpeaking of the final battle, this reminds me of the DM of the replicas, where the sky turned dark and the red circle appeared. But it was acticated by Xehanorts Replicas, so that could maybe just a coincidence? Nah not in these games.
Maybe it was a hint about what happened to Scala (or Daybreak Town?) and it got destroyed by a variant this spell?

Now that you mention it, I do remember the sigil turning red! Even during ReMind, the eye on all of MX's keyblades all turned red too. Like he's summoning some kind of dark magic within that keyblade itself. Super freaky! Makes you wonder too, MX was able to very easily destroy the city with just his magic alone. My memory's a little hazy but I don't think we technically know what's become of Scala right now. But what if MX actually destroyed it when he was younger, resulting in him finally succumbing to his darkness.
We know Scala was built upon the ruins of Daybreak Town after was seems to be a flood, but what was bellow Daybreak? Are those the ruins of the city from which the MoM came from originally? Or is that a demon/ancient evil?
Spoiler Show
Maybe somewhere in that abyss (like in the reddish picture) is where the Goat Blade/No Name was forged from. Who was the original wielder of that keyblade? Was he/she the one who started the keyblade war in the first place and literally became Darkness itself in the end? Like with our own various folklore, maybe there is a legend of Darkness that people of Daybreak Town feared and became the ancient evil that you suggested. Maybe the flood was legitimately the world being plunged into darkness itself.
In before Nomura makes Darkness an ancient evil that was sealed and then unleashed to the world, with No Name being a Keyblade made to specifically channel its power. By the way, Yozora has a red eye, people were theorizing that a possible correlation.Even during ReMind, the eye on all of MX's keyblades all turned red too. I'm still confused about the Scala ad Caelum we see in KINGDOM HEARTS III. I still ask myself whether this was the real deal or just a projection made from Xehanort's memories. My memory's a little hazy but I don't think we technically know what's become of Scala right now.
Remember that No Name is the MoM's Keyblade, but we don't know if he made it. We do know that he added his eye on it. Maybe the Keyblade's individual properties help the MoM actually gaze into the time the Keyblade is plunged in.Maybe somewhere in that abyss (like in the reddish picture) is where the Goat Blade/No Name was forged from.
