Takeharu Ishimoto will be working on KH3D's soundtrack.

Famitsu recently interviewed Ishimoto-san about the Final Fantasy Type-0 soundtrack, where he informed them that he will be working on tracks for Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance.

Expect to hear arrangements from It's A Wonderful World (The World Ends With You) in KH3D.

It's a bit unsurprising given that he was the main composer for The World Ends with You and co-composed with Shimomura-san on Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. His recent body of work also includes Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

I'm in love with Agito's/Type-O's soundtrack right now. I know nothing about the game, but the music is great for me to write to. I seriously hope that they both keep collab'ing it up for the next KH games.

this is bound to be a great game altogether... I love Takeharu's covers as well as his originals, now the epicness of Shimomura and Ishimoto together sounds just great...She's the go to gal for kingdom hearts and and he's a legend with the portable music he's done, (Duodecim, Crisis core, TWEWY) this is bound to be interesting. guarantee I'll be listening to the soundtrack of this one

Fun fact: Tsuyoshi Sekito also composed a few songs for Birth by Sleep. He's a long time staffer from the sound team and was one of the founding members of The Black Mages.

I really loved that track. I knew there was something out of the ordinary or unYoko about it.
