Tale of the Rejected

Okay, this is going to be one of my precious RPs. XD I know, sounds weird but hear me out. This RP shall be the first of (hopefully) many based around my RP character, Zack. (For details, check my site)

Anyway, on with the RP! ^_^

Story:
​

There exist a rare spiecies, that grew from man. And man has given it the name 'diclonius'. This new race, is looked down upon. For not only is it the next evolutionary step, but it is also a threat to humanity. But after the near genocide of this spiecies, a small few have survived.

Two indiviuals in particular, are the most fortunate of the race. (Dispite their agonizing time so far.) They are known as Zack, and Nyu.

For these two diclonius, have suffered greatly for nearly 15 years. But they were finally freed (accidently), they quickly met up, and eventually found a way off their world. From then on, the've been traveling to different worlds, mainly searching for a place they can feel at home in. And though some worlds have offered, Zack and Nyu would still like to keep looking, for many reasons of their own.


It's been three years since they both excaped, their world and began traveling. Now they have visited many worlds, have seen many things, made a few friends, and even accuired some new tricks and items. And this diclonius duo, is no longer a duo. For on two particular worlds, they have befriended an alien symbiote named Toxin, and two digital monsters, Veemon and Keramon.

Now, as the group finish up on their most recent adventure, they are unaware that a high evil, has manage to assemble a group of off-world diclonius hunters...


Who or what this evil is......no one can say for sure........


~Where we last left our heroes...~

"Whew!" Zack sighed. "I thought that guy would NEVER go down."

"Nyu...." She sighed as well.

"Pah!" Marv laughed. "He wasn't that tough. You just need to work out more, kid."

"Hey," Zack smiled, "You forget, I just came back from helping your other friends. Member? Hartigan and Dwight? After all three of your epic battles, I'm bagged." He laughed a little.

"Ah yeah, that yellow bastard, and that crooked cop. How'd that turn out?" Marv asked.

"Heh, okay so far." Zack smiled.

"Nyu!" She smiled.

"Heh, thanks doll. You and your sidekick really helpped me out with ol' Kevin here." Marv smiled to Nyu.

"S-SIDEKICK!?!?!" Zack said angerly.

"Heh heh, just kidding." Marv laughed again as he walked to Kevin's remains.

"Grr..........heh heh," Zack couldn't help but laugh a bit. "So, Marv, what are you gonna do about our friend over there?" Zack said pointing his keyblade it Kevin's fallen body.

"Ah, I'd rather not say in front of Nyu." Marv said.

"That twisted, huh?" Zack smirked.

"Mmm....you could say that." Marv smiled a bit.

"Well, we'll leave you to it. It's about time for us to go. But hey, thanks for the fun. Oh, and tell Dwight, and Hartigan we said 'bye'." Zack said as he and Nyu, headed out of the forest and towards Zack's modified Gummi Ship.

"Sure thing. Late kids." Marv smiled and waved as he got to work.

Zack, Nyu and Toxin boarded, and once Zack took the controls, they darted into the sky, just as they recived an email...

Homeworld: Midgar

Other: Raynie was supposedly born in Midgar, adopted by Tifa Lockheart and Cloud Strife, you average normal girl in the busy city. She had traveled once to many worlds, having played the role of Alice stuck in Wonderland for a long period of time. After those events, she finally got to go back home to Planet and continued her regular lifestyle. That is until the Jenova incident, though it did happen before, this time was worse. All the evil from back then seem to arise once more, along with the greatest villian they've faced as well. All those nightmares she had once had, became alive in brutal reality for her and everyone else.

The occurances of those days were horrible, people were being slaughtered left and right by the Shadow Creepers, a new form of creatures that had appeared along with three silver-haired men that seemed to be causing it all. It seemed as if history was repeating itself once again unfortunatly.

Raynie had gone off, determined to stop it anyway she could, disobeying the others orders, she went off to the rubble that once was Shin-Ra Headquarters, somehow... She was the only one who could see it. What she saw wasn't rubble at all, for in those days, the Headquarters had returned to it's former glory of way back when. She forgot about all the stories she heard about Shin-Ra and stepped into the place. All the things she learned while being there... Was a harsh slap in the face. Raynie not even being her real name at all, and her never being exactly born either. She was a lost experiment, one of the two, the other was never found surprisingly.

"Real daughter of the great Jenova.", as he had put it, the man thought to be dead, possibly it was only his ghost, but to her he was very much real. Proffesor Ghast, top scientest of Shin-Ra, all others below him. For days back in Midgar, Raynie was declared missing, no one could find her in sight. After a couple of weeks, she came back, the others, her friends and 'family' showering her with hugs and kisses at her appearence. She seemed to be the same, nothing was out of the ordinary to them. But to her, she was all too different, Raynie wasn't the same anymore, but... She took her 'mask' and placed it on, hiding herself from all others.

"Don't you remember? You said it yourself those many years ago... "Heaven doesn't exist. The light of Heaven will never, never has, never will, shine here." ", those words kept resounding in her mind, as faint images made their way into her dreams, and most all nightmares.

After that things went back to normal, normal-ish anyway. She went back to being a protector of the Planet seeing as there were hardly any others left to guard the city or any other area on the vast Planet.With AVALANCHE gone and seperated, each one going off to their own lives once again as they had done those years ago, Raynie took it upon herself to make sure nothing would come to harm to her homeworld.

Evil Eye:
This power is limited. Although he can make illusions, no one can be excluded from this power, he can only use the Evil Eye three times a day. Also, he can only use it on one person once. Like, he can't use the Evil Eye on Opponent 1 two times, only once. The only way the Evil Eye can be activated is if he looks you straight into the eye. Midou Ban usually uses it to deceive an opponent when in a tough spot.

The Snake Bite:
Ban can crush anything within his grasp. His force is about 200 kg, and when doing the Snake Bit, he usually aims for the face, or any breakable body parts. Ouch!

He can kick and punch like everyone can. But he can kick and punch very hard.

Other: Midou Ban is talented and gifted. He and his friend, Amano Ginji, are in a group called the Get Backers. The name speaks for itself. They get anything that is lost back, for a price though. Also, the Get Backers may choose whether to retrieve the item or not. His partner Amano Ginji can use Electricity.

Midou Ban is very sly and slick. He's very intelligent. Although, when it comes to money or prizes, his brain turns off to a cha ching.

His Past:
He used to be in a group with a girl, Himiko and her brother, but after Ban "killed" Himiko's brother, the 'duo' was broken up. The real truth was that Himiko's brother asked Ban to kill him before the curse of the "Last Children" took over his personality.

Age: 17
Gender: Male
Weapon/Power:

Weapons: Zan likes to stick with basic weapons, such as his trusty sword, or his short mini daggers, yet if he has nothing on him, he'll pick up anything he can find. He is best with his main sword, the Chainblade.

Powers: Zan can manipulate fire a bit, but rarely uses it, because the only way for him possibly to activate it is if there is fire nearby, which is rarely happens. If he's lucky, he can create a small amount of fire, but it doesn't last long enough to be that effective. He can also preform ninja techniques, which are the most powerful techniques he can use.

Homeworld: Trivian

Other: Zan, ever since he was a child, rarely spoke out to anyone, and kept to himself. He had two friends who he basically did everything with, but rarely even spoke to them. When his homeworld was attacked, he was en-raged, and attacked any enemie he could see, yet, he almost ended up dieing in the process. One of the elders in the particular town he was in, put him in a space pod, and transported him to a nearby planet, known as Valgar. Valgar was a planet of hate and anger, and the people on it were revativly nasty, but Zan didn't care. He was still young at this time, so he grew up with some ninja, since Valgar was a planet with a lot of ninja.

As a year or two went by, Zan's overall power increased with the help of a few ninja who he was training with. He almost even surpassed some of them, yet he wasn't at that level yet. As time went by, he quickly got stronger, and even realized how to unlock demon powers which were held with in him. He decided not to hurt or cause any damage of the sort, but sometimes he attacked out. Zan, even as of today, has a quiet personality.

Name: Malina Nightingale
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Weapon: Minature sythe. Its handle is jet-black, while the blade is pure silver. Along the handle are elfen inscriptions which speak of endles pain and sorrow.
She also has a keyblade, which she uses occasionally. It is called the; Absolution.
Power: Controlling and manipulating the darkness and shadows with alchemy. She also can create portals which let her teleport into different areas or worlds.
Personality: Quiet, Lonely, Cold, Intellegent, and Dark. Even though she might not show it at times, she cares very deeply about having friends. Strangely, she has taken a like towards animals. If she were to see any animal abbandoned, she would usually make it a small shelter.

Homeworld: Risempool
Bio: Malina was born in a small town named Risempool, where she grew up with the Elric brothers; Edward and Alphonse Elric. She studied alchemy with them, using 'Equivalent Exchange' to concern their practices. They taught eachother the basics of alchemy, and created new inventions out of their growing knowledge.

When she grew to about the age of six, her parents, which were renowned State Alchemists, were sent to the war in Ishbal. She had been told that they were simply 'going on a short vacation' so, she had no worries about them coming back home safely. A week later, she had been informed that her parents had been killed in battle, and she wept for days. Having Al and Ed to comfort her, she cheered up a bit, yet still was deeply depresed inside.

Not too long after Malina's parents had died, she had learned that her two best friends' mother had died from a fatal illness. Seeing as that the brothers had made her somewhat happy from her tradegy, she tried to cheer the two boys up. They then told her that they were going to try and bring her back from human transmutation. They offered to do the same for her parents, but she oddly denied it. She decided that she would help them with bringing their mother back to life as well, because she was as skilled at alchemy as they were.

So, once they gathered the neccesary materials, they created a large alchemy circle in the basement of the Elrics' home. When they first stared the transmutation of the ingredients, all seemed well, but they were quickly proved wrong. The basement shook rapidly, and many things were destroyed by alchemitic sparks, or either knocked over. When everything cleared up, Edward had lost his right arm and left leg, and Malina had lost her left arm. But, Alphonse had lost his entire body. Malina was already onconcious, so it was up to Ed to try and find a solution to get Al back.

Edward took the blood from his limbless right shoulder, then created a transmutation circle from the blood inside of a armored metal suit hanging from the wall. He then attached Al's soul to it, and also went unconcious. Al's soul was now intrtwined with the armor, and it was now his empty shell of a body. He opened his eyes to see Malina and Edward on the floor, practically bleeding to death. He hastedily picked them up, and rushed over to their friend Winry's house.

Since Winry's grandmother was an automail specialist, they were able to give thme artificial limbs made of metal. When the two children awoke, their limbs were now replaced by metal. They knew that human transmutation was very dangeruos, and that no one had succeeded at it, but they never thought it would have ever came out to something like that. Well, the were just greatful that they were alive.

Ten years later, Malina, Alphonse, and Edward went out to search for the mythical Philosipher's Stone. It was said to amplify anyone's alchemy, and to to unimainable things. 'It could bring happiness, or horrific power.' That was what most people thought of it. So, they went to find the stone in order to regain what they had lost, and return to the full flesh.

Bio: Zack is not like other humans. He's...........different. But not in the unique way we all are. He's been treated harshly because of this difference. For Zack is something more than a human...........he is a diclonius. This is supposedly the next evolutionarty step in the man's evolution. The main characteristic of the diclonius, are two horns that stick out just atop the head. Above the ears, but not quite on the top of the skull. Dispite this difference, Zack's parents didn't care what he looked like; they loved him just the same. And with his parents help, the first 4 years of Zack's life was good. Like any normal kid's life. Just..........Zack had to wear a hat to cover his horns most of the time. (Just so he wasn't treated harshly based on sudden appearence)

But like all good things, they must come to an end. Unfortunatly, this end came far too soon. For there was a secret organization that specialized in studying the diclonius. (But they were also controling the diclonius population so they don't overrun humans) And they wanted to take Zack in. But Zack's parents refused. They wanted to raise him as best they could, as a normal kid. However, this organization was ruthless, and after a grand struggle for Zack, his parents were killed before his very eyes. Leaving him slightly scarred. Unlucky for the scientists who were capturing Zack, this was also about the time his vectors came through and Zack learned how to use them. (It comes naturally after age 3) So, Zack slaughtered many scientists and gaurds in a blind anger, but was eventually subdued.

When he awoke, Zack had no idea what had just happened. For there are certain times, when the diclonius instincs within Zack take over, and they are ruthless and care not for any life the stand in or around it's path.

Zack then spent 11 years undergoing torturous experiments. This also damaged Zack's personality. Giving him a dark side, and causing his killer diclonius mind to grow. Finally, after this long time, an electrical error caused Zack's shackles to crack open and Zack was then freed.

Dispite the trauma and chaos now invoked within Zack's personality and mind, he still manages (or tries to) keep an upbeaat attitude.

Immediatly after excaping the facility, he came across another diclonius to whom he immediatly befrended and cared for deeply. A young girl named Nyu. Together, they accidently discovered mysterious technology that allowed them to travel to other worlds. That's when their journey really began.

And for the next three years, he's undergone a few changes and aqquired a few things. ((See above))

In the short time of three years, Zack, Nyu and Toxin have visited far more worlds than you'd think. Together, they've helpped more people and world then they care to count. And on a few worlds that often have offworlders, Zack's name is becoming fairly well known throughout the Omniverse. Just imagine if he and his friends continue this path.

Think of the possibilities these three (sometimes five) could accopmlish...

Bio:
Oscea, a world of elementalists, often mistooken for an alchemic world. From which many a family has gained the extaordinary gift to control the elements. Some could only control fire, others, water or earth. Kenji is the best of the best, trained to fight under impossable circumstances.

Being quite adventerous one day, he found a number of gummy blocks, and to his surprise created a ship that could travel the world, even to other planets!

Unfortunetly, while traveling throught a asteroid belt. A delinquent rock smashed into his ship, losing all the planets positions and locations. Including his homeworld.

So lost, hurt, tired and scared...
He searches for his lost planet, to find what was lost...

Bio:
The Zeta Reticulans are more sociologists than scientists. They dislike the Grays abduction techniques, preferring to watch Humanity evolve at its own pace. They feel that any outside interference renders the result of the study inconclusive. They keep small scientific colonies together manned as outposts, where they combine their data and research, keeping a track on the developments that we make. They use DNA from Grays ships that they have captured in space to restructure their bodies to resemble humans (with out the shapeshifting abilities of the Hybrids) but because of their limited stock they tend to create 6-7 of the same bodies for each team. They are only kept on Earth for a brief period of time to ensure that no scientists become to attached to their studies. There was one case of a Reticulan, whose job was to study the media, who refused to leave as he wanted to know what was going to happen next on "Days of our Lives." Despite the similar features of the teams, they are all separate minds each with their own feelings, ideals, and interests. The Reticulans fear for the safety of earth as they enjoy studying it too much. They know that if the Alphans arrive then they'll sell out every last human and even if they don't that there are others out there who will do much, much worse. In fact there is another group of aliens who are never regarded as a "race" by any of the greys. Alien machines that travel from world to world that have evolved themselves to survive off the pain they create from devastating the local population and to use the resources of each planet to build more of their kind and make repairs. These entities have never given forward a name and so have never been given one. The Zeta Reticulans have seen many cultures destroyed by these devices, cultures they can never study again.

Other:
Philosophy: Research of these people is incredible. Despite such clear and present dangers that are present daily they continue to pollute the world, and turn their eyes away from each others social crimes. They are quickly digging their own grave, and even then some of them appear to be beyond that. It will be interesting to document this fall of a civilisation and the birth of the one to follow.

Homeworld: Novod
Bio: Velkion was born on a small island, miles off the coast of Novodorian mainland. His mother's identity is unknown, but he is the son of the legendary Makyu Eramiss; a well known hero of the multiverse, and ruler of Novod. His first adventure, was his father's last. He competed and fought alongside his father in the esperanza ordeal, Makyu's final farewell to his friends, family, relations, and even his enemies. When his father died, Velkion inherited his father's treasures, and many of his great powers and abilities; as well as the knowledge and research his father had done. Two years after his father's death, when he turned 14, he left Novod to explore the multiverse and create his own name.

Since then he has grown exponentially. He has saved many worlds, galaxies, and time periods from destruction and choas. Many times has he fought alongside a keywielder to stop the onslaught of heartless forces. He has saved Japan numerous times from dark forces, and the return of Orochimaru. He has defeated Unicron, killed the seven sins, obliterated dark shenron, and taken down the lord of hell; Satan himself. But through all his exploits, his main purpose is still unfulfilled. He wants to become more famous and legendary than his father. He has strived to overcome his father's legacy, and step out of his shadow.

Appearance: A tan skinned blue-eyed and black haired boy. He is wearing a varied version of Sora's TRON outfit, except with the helmet shaped like his baseball cap, and to accomodate his drooping dog ears...The fingers of the gloves are cut off also...On his back is a Power pack like Megaman's done up in a TRON style. He wears this because he accidentally fused with a Gnosis when going into a drive form, which horrible injured him. Until he is better he has to wear this suit. Unlike the TRON style his skin is it's regular shade.

OCC: Okay, I'm starting this RP. Those who haven't posted their template and PMed me already, can do so during the RP. ^_^

IC: "Hey. Lookit! You got a message Zack!" Veemon said as he pointed to a screen in the cockpit.

"Hmm? A message? Okay, let's see who it is." Zack said opening the message link.

"ZACK! THANK GOODNESS I REACHED YOU!" Said a voice on the comlink.

"Whoa! Professer Brown, what's wrong? Why all the shouting?!"
Zack said.

"Nyu." She giggled a bit at Zack's reaction to the prof.'s shout.

"Ah, anyway, what's wrong professer?" Zack asked.

"Oh, that's right...I need to call you because I have some urgent news. It seems that you have been targeted by some unknown evil. It seems this evil has hired, and well, created some dangerous mercenaries to come after you and.....'harvest' you for your unusual DNA." Prof. Brown said.

"Me? But, shouldn't Nyu be targeted as well? After all, we're both diclonius." Zack said confused.

"Ah yes, I thought about that too until I read on the bounty message." Prof. Brown said. "But because almost all diclonius come out female, and since you seem to be the only male diclonius, that would make you a rare DNA carrier. And I guess Toxin mixing with you, added a boost as well."

"Got that right." Toxin said covering half of Zack's face.

"Well, anyway, I just had to call to make sure you weren't in trouble yet. But I am worried, about these mercenaries...they seem like nothing you've faced yet. And believe me, that's saying something. So you may want to find some allies during your journy." Prof. Brown said nervously.

Zack nodded, "Okay. Thanks Doc." He smiled.

"Oh! And if you ever come by Hill Valley anytime soon, come on in. I've got a nifty addition to your ship, that I think you'll like." Prof. Brown said smiling.

"Will do." Zack smiled as he hung up. "Well...seems like we have a few more bumps along the road."

"Sounds like fun to me." Toxin smiled.

"Nyu!" She said confidently.

"No...problem." Keramon smiled oddly.

"Thanks guys. I'm counting on you as well. But for now, perhaps we should look up some friends for some assistance. Not that we'll need THAT much hlep." Zack smirked as he flew the ship past Traverse Town.

"Haven't I told you to stop stealing my ship?! I can't afford having it wrecked because some hormonal teenager has problems and wants to get away on a trip to Holy Planet knows where!!"

A frown formed on her face, her lips slightly open as she continued to snore while Cid's voice kept shouting through her cellphone on the desk. She clutched on tightly to the pillow she was resting on, trying to block out the annoying yet oddly comical insults from 'Mistah Highwind' himself.

"Stop with the mooing you damned chihuahua!!" (You should know that line, Zack... xD)

Raynie shouted out, obviously still half asleep a she sat up from the sitting area in the Seventh Heaven. Cid was quiet for a moment, processing what she just said through his mind, chihuahua? What the Hell was that? He thought, disregarding it afterwards as some stupid thing before going back to his speech on why not steal other people's property.

"I gotta get a vacation...", Raynie muttered, grabbing a piece of toast that had been laid on the table for her, quickly munching on a bite with no hesitation.

Another miserable day for Midou Ban from the Get Backers with his partner Ginji. He searched all day just to find the most expensive teddy bear, for a rich man who had lost it while he was taking the airport.

"I can't believe how many flight we had to go to just to find the stupid teddy bear. And that one flight to Texas, that wasn't funny. That dumb little baby was chewing on the teddy bear. When we came back with the teddy bear, it was all ripped and spit on. Then, we had to go to a professional sewer with all the money we had left, to sew the ripped parts back together. Then, we didn't have enough money to go on the next flight. So, we begged for money. Luckily, some guy gave us a free flight for going to so many flights just to find a stupid teddy bear. We came back ,that guy who was offering the money, rejected us, because he said, he saw a small saliva stain. We've had such a bad day," said Midou Ban with a maddened expression on his face.

He wasn't regularly like this. On the tough days, he'd go less crazier, but so much chaos had gone on that day. "You know what, Ginji, I just wish I could leave, leave out of here," said Midou Ban.

"I can fix that for you, but for a price," said a man walking up to Midou Ban with a strange look in his face.

Appearance: Think a mix between Xemnas and Zexion, inbetween, and about 17 years old. That is what he looks like, except his eyes are platinum/purple in color. He wears a gothic-styled outfit and over it, wears an Organization coat, er, what used to be one. Now it's just black, with the XIV marked out, and a Crescent moon with a Seven Point Star in the middle of it. Around his neck, he wears a seven-point star amulet, and he has that symbol branded into his face under his left eye.

Bio: The last time that Zay was seen, he was about to destroy another world, or, have a crazed psychopath destroy it for him (*cough* Zetsumi *cough*). He aptly disappeared, however, and went trekking for an unbeknownst amount of time. Though it looks like he hasn't aged.... maybe he has... more than we know. (May reveal more as we go along)

Nightfall had come swiftly, casting it's dark gaze over Novod, and blanketting the castle in shrouds of shadow. As a plague sweeps across a populus, darkness fell over Novod. It was odd how it worked. Randomly, large spans of day will hold over the planet, and at other times it would be night for a long period before day light would return. This could have been attributed to the planets oddly mishapen orbit, but then again, this was the second night in a row. Velkion was worried. Something was going on, a disturbance in the balance of power. Perhaps....he had a habit of looking too much into these things.....but it couldn't hurt to check. It was boring sitting around twiddling his thumbs here anyway.

He looked up as he was grabbing into hand his blades, and looked at a potrait of his father. He grimaced and furrowed his brow. "Damned fool.....what did you think you'd accomplished?" He shook his head and walked out of the castle, climbing into his ship. He hadn't the foggiest idea where he was going. Perhaps a bit of a joy ride might clear his head. That and this castle was getting rather stuffy.
