I heard French people eat monkey brains...? I don't know. And Koreans eat dogs too.

I ate deer meat before, so I'm not really irked by it. I love potatoes too. But it's great that you ate your grandmother's cooking! I've never eaten my grandmother's food (My Japanese side). The only thing I ate was this seaweed roll with rice and salmon eggs that she made when I left Japan (I think it's called California rolls?) :( I wish I could eat her cooking.

I love California rolls! They are so skillfully made! I tried unrolling one to roll it up myself, but ended up completely destroying it. NEVER AGAIN.

Lobster is brilliant. Ever had crayfish? It's like a mini-lobster, but firmer, and, in my opinion, yummier.

How do you like your steak? I like mine medium.

I have no idea what menudo is. But I do love quesadillas and grilled cheese. I also love some tamales. I have wanted to try one with goat meat.
It's Mexican soup, over here, people usually eat it on Sunday mornings or during Christmas.

I like me my quesadillas, and tortillas.

And WAFFLES. I can't believe I never said this before, but WAFFLES! They are simply delicious, especially if you go to Belgium on a cool autumn day and have yourself a freshly made, toasty waffle in your hands. Mmmm.

I'm just curious, but what is your favourite food? There can be more than one, it doesn't matter. As long as you find them your favourite or that you love eating them. It would be nice to have some pictures too!

A few of mine are... (well I love to eat almost everything)

Yudofu (It's tofu boiled in a hot pot, and then you dip it in soy sauce).

Korokke - Um...is it called Croquette?

Idli (I haven't eaten this in such a long time, I miss it!)

Tosai (Or however you call it, I call it tosai)

Unagi Donburi or Una don for short (Grilled eel on rice)

I have a lot more, but I can't seem to remember. :/
So I'd love to know KHI's favourites... please? X)
I wanna live in Malaysia! (?)

Favorites:

Salmon, Especially Salmon Teriyaki.
Ramen
Soup - Specifically Clam Chowder and Chicken noodle soup. <33
Shrimp - just dethawing them and eating them is love. <3 (the already cooked ones anyways)
Most fish- except the bland fish, such as... well the common ones around here. >.< (my mum always buys the bland stuff. D:)
Pasta - if it has a nice creamy sauce, especially alfredo sauce, and has some sort of fish in it.
Steak - STTTTTTEEEEEAAAAK. xD
Mashed potatos- not with gravy, but with Corn mixed in. xD

Roast beef- No I mean the lunch meat variety. I hate cutting the hug thing, and it's much better cold anyways. >.<

lol. I'll come up with more later~ :D

Actually, they're all mostly my mom's cooking, so...yeah. You could probably find the Japanese food here, but my mom's cooking is wayy better, definitely! Except for the Indian food because my mom doesn't know how to cook them so I eat them from restaurants. I love mushroom soup!!

That sucks D: Idli is soooooo good especially with sambar or sugar.
jambalaya.jpg

another fave is jumbalay, but the only downside is that this shit is mad spicy and pepperish
damn that looks goooooooooooooooooooood.
I don't mind spicy things since it's an Indian thing. Most curries my mom make are fairly spicy.
