I for one, don't agree where the story and the games are going. KH already has six titles in the Xehanort Chronicles, and get this, there are three more games to be released, all of which only completes this chronicle. Do you understand how silly that sounds?
The story, Keyblade, characters, and what not, have all become six, seven step equations. Nothing hardly makes sense anymore. BBS, in fact, made things more confusing and left open a few plot holes. And when we think the long awaited conclusion and all these accumulated elements that the past three games gave birth to is finally in production, KH3 is only the end of the first chronicle.
What the hell? So what was even the point for making all these handheld games (two of which I would consider to be just gimmicks)? You think fans would rather play a handheld opposed to a home console title? No... But since they build up anticipation for the conclusion, fans go out to by them (despite clunks). After the years of waiting, we find out that KH3 isn't even the cap off... (I'm tired of waiting.)
Know what, I didn't even care that two titles were being released ahead of KH3, but what got me was that Sora has plenty of more adventures awaiting him... That part got me seriously angry. Everything about KH is being stretched to the maximum. If it's not redundant, it's being contradictory, and more confusing. That what happens when so many titles are derived from a series that has little to work with. Now Nomura is telling me that there are more adventures ahead for Sora...
Ha, where is he going to get the material? The pond's all dried up. It's not like KH is like the Ratchet, Uncharted, or Mario series. Those games were created in worlds with vast possibilities. No story, or major plot constrictions. KH is different... Each title is not self-contained....
Gosh, my rant lasted a lot longer than I intended it too.
