First of all, I wanna say that Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney movies of all time and look forward to seeing it return in future Kingdom Hearts titles. As such, the following is a hypothetical scenario in which BatB could fit into KH3.
SETTING -
To not seem redundant, the world would not feature the castle itself, but everywhere else from the film instead. The party arrives just outside the castle gates. From there is the dark, wolf-infested forest, possibly in multiple sections. From there is the peaceful country road the Maurice traveled before entering the forest. Then comes the village, possibly in multiple sections, with the tavern and some shops available for item purchases. Lastly would be Belle's house.
SCENARIO -
Sora and co. arrive outside the castle gates to check on Belle, worried that Xehanort may make an attempt to kidnap the princesses again. They see Belle and the Prince saddling Philippe by the gate. Sora and co. don't initially recognize the Prince, but after some talking, Belle explains they are on their way to the village after troubling news from Maurice. Sora and co. offer to escort Belle and the Prince through the woods since the Prince has been rendered a less than capable fighter.
An escort mission ensues in which Sora and co. must traverse the woods and protect Philippe from attacking wolves and heartless. Leaving the forest, the party are on the outskirts of the village when they hear a terrifying, yet familiar roar and the screams of villagers. Upon entering the village, Belle is set upon by the townsfolk who blame her for the presence of a monster who has been terrorizing them as of late. After Sora and co. defend her and insist it's impossible, they decide to investigate this strange turn of events.
After some exploration of the town, the group encounter Gaston, much to the shock of Belle and the Prince. He has been fueling propaganda against Belle and insisting that only he can protect the village from the monster. The group gathers in private at Belle's house, where the Prince recounts his encounter with Gaston through flashback. The flashback recreates the climactic fight on the castle rooftops, ending with Gaston's demise, falling into the ravine below. Puzzled by his apparent survival, Sora and co. take on a stealth mission to stalk Gaston through the village.
They eventually come upon Gaston conversing with the monster and discover that he is using it to take his revenge on Belle and the Prince. Upon being confronted, he recounts through flashback that after the fall, he lay near death on the floor of the ravine swearing bitter revenge upon the Beast. Summoned by his strong feelings of rage, a group of Heartless set upon him and consume his heart. The group conclude that the beings before them are in fact Gaston's humanoid Nobody and Heartless. His heartless, as a reflection of his true monstrous nature, has taken on a form that ironically resembles the Beast that was his undoing. A boss battle ensues where the party fights both Nobody and Heartless. Upon their defeat, they both vanish into nothingness.
On return visits, it is optional to take a side path from the castle gate to the ravine below. Expecting to find Gaston's reformed body, they only come upon a quiver that, upon examination, is described as being torn by what appears to be claw marks from wolves. This ambiguously implies a gruesome fate for Gaston without being too graphic.

Please give me your thoughts and I might make a fully scripted fanfiction scenario if I get enough positive feedback. I would also love to hear other ideas for original scenarios for Disney worlds.
