I guess my main hope for next season is just one main thing then:
Once Upon a Time season 5: LGBT relationship will finally be explored | EW.com
effin finally. maybe i'll get back into the show now after skipping all of season four.
It's like they heard my prayers.
So now that queers are happening I'm finally catching up on Season 4.
And, I'm just finishing the Snow Queen arc now, and I don't know if Season 4 is actually better than past seasons of the show or what, but I'm finding it like... actually enjoyable? When usually I would hate almost every ep of past seasons and get super frustrated all the time. Maybe this show is just meant to be binge-watched. It's a lot easy to forgive individual episodes when they all sort of string together and you're not waiting weeks in between. Anyway, I'm glad I'm not hating it. :3
First half of season four was actually one of my favorite half seasons from the show. Hell, I thought they managed to write the Frozen cast really well and even better than they were in their film, which is saying a lot since this show tends to make me actually groan at how they write some characters or just kind of shaft some characters.
I will say, I think this show is one meant to be binged. I did that for seasons 1-2 before season 3 and fell in love with the show. Then Neverland came and was kinda meh until the last three/four episodes (that finale tho </3), and then the second half of season three was okay but not amazing. Season 4A was bae and Season 4B was... well...
My point, anyway, is that I think I appreciated this show more while bingewatching moreso than the week to week basis, although I am looking forward to the new season thanks to Merida, Camelot, and all the homosexuality that will be transpiring.
