I almost can't process this right now, VII isn't my favorite but its definitely aged the worst out of the entire series. I can't wait to play this! And for the first bit of speculation, I wonder if they'll keep Vincent and Yuffie optional?

Was I the only one who thought it looked like they were about to reveal a (playable) sequel to Advent Children? I think I would actually have preferred that.

Square Enix, don't you dare put Gackt in this remake! And don't screw up the soundtrack or the vibe of the game!

I'm excited for this, but part of me is just kinda "meh" because now I'm 100% convinced II-VI will never be remade in PS3-current gen graphics.

Cannot wait for the same fanbase that asked for this game to accuse SE of "ruining" it. Because they will.

I am not sure if I like Clouds new look, but we have seen so little that I can`t really comment on that.

those guys just gotta learn to take it for what it is. this isn't going to replace the original, and it doesn't need to. really, this is pretty redundant and silly (as is the nature of most remakes). but it'll be a good time, for the novelty of it, if nothing else.

I'm excited for the game, don't get me wrong, it's just hard to get past these high expectations.
