I want the iPod. Seriously. But $300 for 32GB is out of my range...

And while I find the Nano to be amazing, I'd rather not.

The IPhone 5 is just hype but that doesn't matter I still predict it will sell very well and it should be the hot product of the year like the IPad was in recent years.

I don't really like the look of the new iPhone 5, to me it just looks too long, it should have been wider aswell (unless they did make it wider and I'm blind) but maybe I'm just being a bit picky.

I probably won't get it as I don't really like the customisation compared to the Android and the camera is still only 8MP. But saying that, I might just get the new iPod Touch when my Nano finally dies.

There's no reason why the damn thing should cost so much. It should cost at least $100 less if not more. Thats my only gripe with them.

Aww but I like the design. It's newer design is the one I prefer, but the iPhone 4 design was good too. A LOT of people always buy some type of case protector on their iPhone, but with iPhone 5's new design I wonder how many are willing to still cover it up.

They still will... Today it is rare to see a iPhone with out a otterbox case or some sort of covering... But then again that was mainly because the previous iphone was like 90% glass

Cause Apple knows how to hype a device even if some of us feel as though their talking out of their ass. That's one thing I will give them.

As a 4s owner, I really don't get why either. I mean, the 5 is great but I still have several months remaining on my 18 month contract and I sure as hell am not going to buy one off contract. That'd destroy my bank account lol. I'll probably skip the 5 and wait for the inevitable 5s.

Eh, I say if you have a 4S, but want the 5 and more than have the means to pay the extra money, why not? It's not a poor decision if you have the money. If you're living paycheck to paycheck, I could understand your hesitation. But let's be real, people from all financial classes are dropping money on this thing, upgrade or no. Lol

My roommate works at Apple, so he gets a crazy awesome discount (like some 50%). He's lucky he can just get one out of contract.

Mine doesn't renew until January, then I can upgrade. Doesn't really bother me at all. Dunno how I feel about the increase in height, though. It'll be great for browsing reddit/tumblr/internet, but it's gonna suck for my pocket. Just a bit.

That was sort of my point. That people don't always do what'd be best for them.

And I feel like that extra height isn't gonna do much to how it feels in your pocket. It's taller, not wider.

The iPhone 5 looks good. I probably won't be getting till my 4s dies, since there isn't a very big difference between the 4s and 5.
