So... yeah! I was surprised too, while translating KH BBS FM I found lots of files that weren't in the USA version which I thought it was obvious since it had extras, but after checking what they were I thought people should know about this... I made some pics about the contents inside the game.

Riku (KH1 version with wooden sword and soul eater):
Kairi (KH1 version):
And the game logos:
Those models were along with the KH3D logo, and those models are NEVER used in the game... in fact, those models have more quality than any other model in the whole game!
I can only think of two things that could have happened....
1- All KH3D videos up until now have been rendered using a PSP and the KH BBS game engine to be recorded.
2- They were planning to put some kind of KH3D little demo/teaser into the game but they decided on the last moment not to add it.
I hope you guys find this as interesting as I do.
Also, I didn't know where this was meant to be posted, on handheld section or in the Future KH section, if this is in the wrong place, someone move it please.
