My unpopular opinions number 8 and number 10 from last year have changed.
8. Was that aside from Mario 64 and Sunshine, the series was kind of meh. I'm really opening up to a lot more of the older Mario titles and appreciating them in a different light than I previously had.
10. Was that after the Wii I just didn't really care about Nintendo consoles anymore. My time with the Switch really has changed that, it's a fantastic console with a lot of potential for future games.
Galaxy is a "meh", but a cool and entertaining sort of meh.
I mean, the New Super Mario Bros. game are just there as quick cash grabs. They aren't as thought-out as big Mario games.I wasn't very big on Galaxy, and I thought New Super Mario Bros. Wii was pretty whatever when it came out too, I beat it in a day. But I've been having fun with some of the Super Nintendo ones lately, and I've been thinking about trying out Paper Mario
Paper Mario 64 and The Thousand Year Door are fantastic games. The problem is that if you try and love them, you'll be mourning the direction of the series with the rest of us.
14. People who genuinely(as opposed to jokingly) mock/condescend others on account of gaming achievements or difficulty preferences are trying to cover up an inadequacy in their real lives.
You could've said that for all fighting games, why single out SSB?I believe I posted a comment in this thread before, apparently not.
- Super Smash Bros isn't that great of a game. It's repetitive combat, stuck in the same area until you win or change a new level. I feel a need to move in the setting and not be stuck in one big room with a textured map. After 3-5 battles it gets boring for me, even with other players. It's all fun in the first 15 minutes, but then it's the same old thing over and over again.
